*Metal Bar Mattress Support Base is not suitable to be used with pocketed spring mattress without a plywood mattress support base
*Additional ply wood mattress support base helps prolong mattress lifespan and adds support load

*The length the base is made a little shorter such that the metal sides would not rub against the bed frame legs, to prevent scratches and dents. The mattress when placed on the pull out bed, would stick out a little and this is normal.
